Good-quality ready-mixed concrete requires careful selection of raw materials (high-quality, properly proportioned, and consistent), controlled production processes (accurate batching, mixing, transport, placing, finishing, and curing), and satisfactory performance in both its fresh and hardened states (workability, consistency, compressive strength, water penetration resistance, durability, stable volume, and correct unit weight) along with rigorous quality control and inspection throughout. To make selection easier, concrete can be categorized by use as follows:

     Standard Concrete refers to conventional concrete used in general construction, typically designed with a compressive strength ranging from 180 to 400 kg/cm². This type is well suited to general structural work such as columns, beams, footings, and slabs.

Waterproof Concrete is a specially formulated concrete with low permeability, no water penetration and significantly slowing the rate of water flow through the material. It is ideal for construction requiring waterproofing performance, making it particularly well suited for structures designed to hold water or that come into direct contact with water or moisture  such as swimming pools, water tanks, and bathroom floors as well as structures exposed to groundwater, such as underground water tanks, rooftop decks, balcony floors, and basements.

Ready-Mixed Concrete 

Concrete is one of the most widely used composite materials in construction, particularly ready-mixed concrete delivered ready to use by mixer truck.

The main components of concrete consist of three materials

1. cement
2. aggregate (crushed stone, sand, or gravel)
3. water

These three raw materials are combined during mixing, and once mixed, they get by a chemical reaction that causes the concrete to harden gradually with its strength continuing to develop over time after mixing.

Recommended Strength by Application

Concrete for General Structural Work is designed with a slump of 7.5 ± 2.5 cm and offers a range of compressive strength (Strength) options from 180 KSC to 400 KSC (cube). Key ingredients include cement, coarse aggregate (crushed stone), fine aggregate (sand), concrete retarder, and water.

1. For decorative flooring or landscaping purposes only  such as covering overgrown grass areas with no load-bearing requirement, we recommend concrete with a compressive strength of 180 KSC (cube) / 140 KSC (cylinder).
2. For pedestrian flooring with no vehicle load, poured directly onto existing ground, we recommend concrete with a compressive strength of 210 KSC (cube) / 180 KSC (cylinder).
3. For flooring designed to accommodate sedans and pickup trucks, poured directly onto existing ground, we recommend concrete with a compressive strength of 240 KSC (cube) / 210 KSC (cylinder).
4. For flooring designed to support 6-wheel vehicles and larger, including trucks and pickup trucks carrying cargo, we recommend concrete with a compressive strength of 280 KSC (cube) / 240 KSC (cylinder) or higher.
